Dalton State College (DSC) Educational Technology Center (ETC) will be remaining on the campus of DSC in the College of Education and will serve as an Outreach Program for the College--providing cost effective technology services for the Northwest Georgia area. The DSC ETC participates in a network of statewide technology centers, broadening the expertise that we offer.

We are committed to offering the types of services that have come to be expected of the ETC. However, during this time when we all have to do more with less and in our case, no state funding, we have struggled with pricing that is affordable while still assuring that one receives top quality technology training and support. We hope that you will review the services and trainings that we offer and do not hesitate to call and discuss your technology needs with DSC ETC.

ETC Vision, Mission, & Goals

Vision:
Leading the nation in the integration of educational technology to improve teaching, learning, and leadership.

Mission:
The Educational Technology Centers work collaboratively to provide professional learning, consulting, and service for Georgia educators to promote the appropriate use of technology in support of teaching, learning, and leadership.

Goal 1:
Use research-based best practices & data analysis to improve instruction through the use of technology.

Goal 2:
Ensure the stability of schools districts' technology infrastructure to support teaching, learning, & administration.
